Shownotes

Jorge Lima is Second Life resident since the beta phase in 2003. He is known as Eggy Lippmann in-world. He is co-founder of the SL History Wiki, did quite a lot of projects and co-founded Beta Technologies last year which is a quite successful Second Life consulting company.

In this interview we talk about how it was in Second Life in the early days, how the future of it might look like and what impact Open Source might have. Back then when we did the interview, the Open Source client was not released and we were more expecting a time of August 2007 instead of January when it actually happened. Thus it’s interesting to hear now what we though back then about it.
